If you wish to re-print a selected article from Elder Update in your newsletter or other printed publication, please request permission from the Elder Update editor* in advance for each specific article that you wish to use. Please include the following information in your request:
- Article you would like to reprint (title, date of issue, and page number)
- Name of your publication
- Date of intended publication
- Print quantity
- Circulation area
Copyright fair use law allows you to excerpt up to 100 words from an article without our permission. For more than 100 words, you must reprint the entire article without any alterations or editing.
We often print articles provided to us by other organizations and agencies. We do not authorize the reprinting of these external articles.
If approved, please include the following line with all reprinted articles: “Reprinted with express permission from the Florida Department of Elder Affairs.”
The Florida Department of Elder Affairs does not charge for reproduction rights.
