Office of Legislative Affairs
The office serves as the Department resource for statutory interaction. It provides information to legislators and the public about elder care legislation. The office also acts as liaison between DOEA staff, legislators, legislative committee staff and industry interests. The office provides support services to Department divisions relative to drafting legislation, coordinating briefings, assisting in the development of the Department legislative package, providing assistance to legislators and staff as requested and promoting the Department’s agenda throughout the legislative process.
