Consumer Resource Guide

The Consumer Resource Guide is an easy-to-read self-help guide for older adults and their caregivers and families containing practical information and resources. Some of the topics covered are caregiver & consumer support, transportation, housing & property rights, health insurance programs, health promotion & disease prevention, and elder rights, abuse & fraud, and life planning.

Note: In response to COVID-19, and with concern for the health and safety of older adults, some locations such as congregate meal sites, senior centers, and adult day care centers may be temporarily closed. Please contact the location to confirm if they are still offering services at their site or if alternative services are available. Elder Needs Index (ENI) Maps

The Florida Department of Elder Affairs (DOEA) developed the Elders Needs Index (ENI) to help aging network partners strategically plan for targeting and serving areas with concentrations of vulnerable elders. The ENI is a composite index of population characteristics, presented in map format to denote the location and proportion of elders in vulnerable groups throughout Florida.
